Tanya Rider lives in the Seattle, Washington, area with her husband Tom where she continues to live life with a positive attitude while recovering from her injuries.

Tracy C. Ertl is a 911 dispatcher for Brown County in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Ertl works 911 calls and dispatches police officers and firefighters. She is a national instructor for APCO International and is recognized as an expert in deploying communications tactics during active shooter incidents.
