New York: American Tract Society, 1863. Worn copy. Examples from the Bible of some advantages of sorrow and Christian remorse. Black blindstamp decorated cloth with gilt spine lettering and decoration, 144 pages. The book is in fair condition with pinholes along the upper quarter of front joint, plus small holes along the surface of rear joint, heavily rubbed upper front cover corner and outer right edge, sound text block, good hinges, old dampstains throughout, pencil notation from 1867 on front free endpaper.. Hard Cover. Fair. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
