About This Item

Shanghai: You zheng shu ju, n.d.. Paperback. Four paperback volumes bound with thread in traditional format, in a worn wrap-around blue case; some wormholing to the bottom edge, particularly in the first volume, but it fortunately remains in the blank page margins. A late Qing or Republican era edition of this famous critical work on the appraisal of paintings and calligraphy, originally published during the reign of Qianlong.
