NY: Charles Scribner's, 1945. Hard bound in blue cloth, quarto, the true and scarce 1945 first edition with larger illustrations than subsequent editions, illustrated throughout, xiv + Pp332. Includes bibliography. Light wear to spine ends and corner tips else a very good copy, without dust jacket. 930 grams -- depending on destination, extra postage may be requested. From the library of Hollywood hair stylist Scotty Rackin with his bold signature and address (as well as name stamp) to front pastedown. Rackin's first credit is in 1944 for 'The Bridge of San Luis Rey'. He worked with the Marx Brothers on 'A Night in Casablanca' & 'Love Happy'. He also worked in TV on the following shows: 'Burke's Law'; 'Honey West'; 'The Big Valley'; 'The Night Strangler'; and more. His last credit is listed as working on 'The Jacksons' in 1976.
