About This Item

B. T. Batsford Ltd., 1930. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1930. First Edition. 249 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Quarter bound red leather with red cloth boards. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Contains black and white photographic plates. Book has a very strong odour. Contents appear to be missing from rear pocket. Pages are very notably thumb-marked, with light tanning to endpapers and text block edges. Liquid drops on front endpapers, with black rubbing and a few small nicks along text block edge. Minor dog-eared corners. Plates are lightly tanned and extensively thumb-marked. Rear plate is notably creased with a loss to corner. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping and fraying to corners, and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning and sunning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a pronounced forward lean and subtle bow. Thumb-marking to front and rear boards, with a liquid stain to front.
