About This Item
First American hardcover edition, with dust jacket, published by Knopf, 1993. A collection of short stories, with a remarkable cast of characters, who are all coping, either peripherally or explicitly, with the effects of AIDS. Gray boards with gray cloth covered spine, with the author name and title imprinted on the spine and front cover in gray. Boards are flat, and the corners are not bumped or creased. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. There are some light smudge marks to the edges of the text block from use, and page 173 has a dog ear place holder crease at the top corner. This is not a remainder, not a library discard. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
