London: John Williams, 1826. Two volumes re-bound in slightly worn and marked brown cloth with red title panels and gilt lettering to spine, 9 black and white engravings in vol. 1 with coloured print of St. Pauls with tissue guard, extra illustrated title page (both title pages have a name in ink at the top), 24 black and white engravings in vol. 2 with coloured print of Westminster Abbey without tissue guard, name in ink on title page, all plates variously dated, mostly 1826, but some 1825 or 1827, pages (thin and fragile) and edges browning, some foxing to plates and endpapers, but internally generally good, in vol. 1 pp369/70 have extra paper at top corner, which is cut and turned over, some cracking to rear hinge in both volumes, some strain to stitching of the plates in vol. 2, but binding secure; a handsome set.. First Edition. Hardcover. Good.
