Sir Henry Maximilian "Max" Beerbohm (24 August 1872 20 May 1956) was an English essayist, parodist, and caricaturist best known today for his 1911 novel Zuleika Dobson In a green cloth binding with paper label to the spine. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. Internally, generally firmly bound. Loss to the top of the spine. Pages are generally bright and clean. Some of the pages are uncut. There is an ink inscription to the front pastedown. Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
