Sydney: James Fraser Publishing, 1985. First Edition 8vo. pp.104, illustrations in black and white in text.Original red cloth hardcover in rear foxed now protected pictorial dust wrapper. In Collaroy, one of Sydney's northern beach suburbs Gwen Badgery (the mother) settled herself at an elderly typewriter and wrote spicy, gossipy letters to her daughter who was on her overseas experience. Uniquely funny and uniquely typical of its period in Sydney, the 1950's.
