Harper and Brothers, 1923. Hardcover. Good/Good. Good ; Good Jacket. 1923 Harper and Brothers. First Edition, stated. G - X printing code for July, 1923. NOT ex-library. Small hardcover, 4.5 x 6.75 inches, has red cloth-covered boards with black spine and cover lettering and decorations. 146 pages. Hinges NOT cracked. Binding getting loose in a few places in the text, with webbing peeking at page group divisions. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Small raised area in cloth at fore edge of front cover. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. Grey dust jacket with black lettering and black and yellow illustration. Jacket has a few small scuffs, chipped and nicked edges, small to 1 inch tears; spine is lightly tanned. Jacket is somewhat brittle, and cracks at spine edges and one corner have been repaired on the interior of the jacket with archival repair tape. Dust jacket is NOT price clipped, showing original price of $1.50. Carefully packed, shipped in a box. This item will be shipped with signature confirmation required.
