Hayes, & W. Fox, Londini [ London ], 1780. 10th edition, corrected.. Hardback. Full contemporary sheep, G+. [viii]+xxx+554+[16]pp, red morocco lettering piece to the spine. The last page of text is a list of school books printed by C Bathurst. Leather rather worn & scuffed with a small section missing from the rear board, corners worn though, spine scuffed & worn with loss to the head & tail, hinges cracked but holding firmly. Gather Nn is a little loose in the binding resulting in the fore edge being worn, occasional ink splash & smudge, a nice copy. Selections from the speeches & addresses of the Roman Marcus Tullius Cicero [ 106 BC - 43BC ], the text here being that of the original Delphin edition, and edited by Charles de Hallot Merouille.

Book grades are given book then dustjacket (if any) Running from F - Fine, VG - Very Good, G - Good, P - Poor. A fine book will look almost like the day it was bought, a VG one will have some evidence of prior ownership, G means a nice clean copy, obviously secondhand & P implies a COMPLETE copy that has suffered a hard life & will need some TLC. We take into account the books age when grading, so a 250 year old book graded as VG will look more second hand that a 5 year old book graded the same. On the Net since 1998. All prices are in GBP.
