Very Good+ in Near Fine DJ: Book shows indications of careful use: former owner's note giving, presumeably, the place and date of purchase at the bottom corner of the front free endpaper; else no noticeable wear; the binding shows barely discernible lean off square, but remains perfectly secure; the text is clean. The DJ shows only the mildest rubbing and the barest hint of wear to the outside edges; unclipped. Overall, though not quite pristine, remains a very handsome copy: clean, sturdy, and quite presentable. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library.
