Garden City: Doubleday & Company, 1960. First Edition (NAP). Hardcover. Very good/near fine. 8vo., pp. 436 + pp. 11 unpaginated portfolio of illustrations. Signed by the author on a blank front endpaper; "Sincerely, Norman Rockwell", -- Dust jacket has moderate wear around the outer edges. Not price clipped. Blue circular stickers on front and back of dust jacket have been removed. Cloth covers bright and clean, labels on front cover bright and clean. Binding straight and tight. -- A nice clean copy of the first edition of a major American illustrator. -- Overall Condition. "Norman Percevel Rockwell was an American painter and illustrator. His works have a broad popular appeal in the United States for their reflection of the country's culture. Rockwell is most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life he created for The Saturday Evening Post magazine over nearly five decades".-wikipedia.
