Consisting of an autobiography, a biography and a work of historical and political analysis. Three works from former Prime Minister and statesman, Sir Winston Churchill, in the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrappers.The first work present is the 1947 printing of 'My Early Life', first published in 1930. This details the first twenty-five years of Churchill's life, closing at the start of his parliamentary career.The second work present is the 1949 printing of 'Step by Step, 1936-1936', first published in 1939. Billing itself as 'an immortal contribution to the history of the years immediately preceding the outbreak of the Second World War', a series of articles from Churchill analyse the cause of this international crisis.Illustrated with a number of photographic plates, also present is the 1949 edition of 'Great Contemporaries', first published in 1937. In this work, Churchill has selected twenty-five essays on 'Great Men of Our Age', including Chamberlain, Asquith and Curzon. In the publisher's original cloth bindings, in price unclipped original dust wrappers. Fading to 'Early Life' back strip, with bumping to 'Great Contemporaries' spine head and tail. Boards bright. Chipping to 'Step' and 'Contemporaries' back strip heads, and 'Contemporaries' back strip tail. Clear tape to tail of 'Step' front wrap. Small losses to head and tail of 'Contemporaries' front wrap. Tape reinforcements to reverse of 'Step' and 'Life' dust wrappers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
