The Cassell Publishing Co. existed from 1890 to 1893. Decorated endpapers. First published in 1853, this novel by prolific English writer Sir Edward Bulwer-Lytton presents English life of the first half of the 19th century in London and the village Hazeldean. A scarce edition. In Very Good+ Condition: edges lightly rubbed; small discoloration on front board; otherwise, clean and tight.
