The first edition, first impression of this work, in the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper.The 'Five Find-Outers and Dog' is a series of children's mystery novels authored by Enid Blyton between 1943 and 1961, set in the fictitious village of Peterswood.In this novel, the five children and their dog face a kidnapping, and once again frustrate the unpleasant village policeman, Mr Goon.Illustrated with a frontispiece and seven full page illustrations by Joseph Abbey. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with minor shelf wear to spine tail, and light bumping to spine head. A touch of spotting to fore edge of text block. Light edge wear to dust wrapper back strip tail, with a minor loss to the head of the rear wrap, and a minor loss to the back strip head. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Near Fine
