About This Item
A beautiful book, in excellent condition and full of interesting facts and wonderfully illustrated with one fold out map.
Sixteen plates in colour, thirty-two plates in half-tone and other illustrations.
An extraordinary book on a fasinating subject and very rare in this condition and subject.
I have found it over the years very difficult to find good books on the Polynesians written without cultural bias of the usually white anglo male. I highly recommend this book.
