Le titre peut se traduire : Histoire des braves de la cour du sud. 10 volumes cousus en accordéon. 3 couvertures imprimées différentes, la première série comporte 3 volumes, la seconde 4 et la troisième 3. Frottements. 2 volumes avec galerie de vers en marge haute dont un avec une galerie au centre du livre, atteignant les gravures. Nombreuses scènes de combats particulièrement violentes avec décapitations et geyser de sang ; scènes de cour. Le dessin de Sadahide est remarquablement fin et fouillé, les lavis noirs et gris ajoutant profondeur et contraste. [ENGLISH TRANSLATION FOLLOWS] First edition, rare, with 35 engravings, many double page in black, grey, and white (several with grey and black ink wash). The title may be translated as: A History of the Braves of the Southern Court. 10 accordion-stitched volumes. Three different printed covers, the first series comprising three volumes, the second four and the third three. Rubbing. Two volumes with worming to upper margin, one wormhole to centre of book touching engravings. Numerous scenes of particularly violent combat, with decapitations and gushing blood; Court scenes. The figure of Sadahide is remarkably finely rendered and detailed, the grey and black wash adding contrast and depth.
