Orig. published in 1932, this is later printing from 1953 (1953B-58 per Farah's 11th), with the original text in 25 chapters, 209 pages, plain frontispiece by Russel Tandy, with Second cover art by Bil Gillies. With blue tweed cloth-covered boards stamped with darker blue lettering & a blue silhouette to front & "blue multipic" endpapers. The book is in VG+ condition: quite clean & bright, with very mild rubbing to extremities. Slight dust dulling to fore edge. Pages very mildly tanned but completely unmarked. Paper at lower front hinge is starting to split. The wrap DJ is VG-: very bright & clean with minimal edgewear but a 1" chunk missing from lower spine; else, mild rubbing to extremities & wear at all corners.
