Synopsis

Poe's only novel, The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym, is the tale of a stowaway on a whaling ship. Young Pym and the captain's son, Augustus, avoid discovery while witnessing incredible events aboard ship; mutiny, savagery, cannibalism, and other gothic maritime adventures.
