National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Washington, 1970. First Edition. Softcover. Good Condition (ex-library). Foreword by William M. Kaula, Chairman, Central Review Committee, principal recommendations and the participants. The text is illustrated with black-and-white graphs and line drawings. Green coloured paperback binding with black coloured illustration and titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the back strip. Quoting from the forward, page III, " ... This report is the result of a study supported by the National Aeronautics and's Space Administration to explore the possible contributions of accurate position, velocity, and acceleration measurements to the solution of problems in solid-earth and ocean physics and to make program recommendations." This is an ex-library copy, from the Defence Standards Laboratories Library, and has the faults of same:  library stamps, Including cancellation stamps to the front and rear book panels, library card fixed to the verso of the rear panel. Library data card attached to the verso of the rear panel. Creasing of the book corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels. Fading of the back strip along with remnants of a sticker to be seen to the lower edge. Very light age toning of the text block edges and pages. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
