Washington, DC: National Geographic Society, 1917. Hardcover. Small 4to. Burgundy buckram with gilt spine lettering. xix, 566pp. Numerous illustrations (some color, including one color foldout). Overall very good. Mild binding wear only, else tight and internally quite nice, with usual age toning to endpapers and first few leaves. The most discreet of -ex-library, with almost no markings.
