Hardback, 1909, first edition, published by Adam and Charles Black, London, 314 pages + xxvi and 2-page publisher catalogue at rear.
Measures around 9 1/8" by 6 1/8" by 1 3/4". Greenish cloth binding, gilt lettering to spine. Some discolouration to spine, some tearing to spine at top, bottom and along upper parts of outer hinges. Scuffing and a little marking, some signs of shelf-wear, slightly bumped and torn corners. Binding reasonably firm. Page edges browned, deckled and jagged from having been cut. Page surfaces clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
