London: Seeley, Service & Co. Ltd. Good with no dust jacket. 1923. First Edition. Hardcover. 316, [4] pp. Ads. 38 b/w illustrations and 3 maps, 2 of them folding. Original black cloth with sea-blue ruling, blue square on front board with the image of a ship. Gilt stamp of the Cruising Association Library, blue to spine with gilt "C. A." boards are clean, corners a little rubbed, spine ends rubbed, head of spine has some chipping, cloth starting to split at joints but still holding. Interior front endpaper has Cruising Association label dated 1924 with deaccess. Stamp. Facing page has ghost from C. A. Label. Title page has C. A. L. Embossure, otherwise interior is clean and unmarked. The two folding maps are in very nice condition. A nice copy of this first edition, with pleasing provenance. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 316 pages .
