Esslingen: J.F. Schreiber, 1895. Hardcover. Good -. 3rd edition. [2], 16 p.: color illustrations; 29 cm. Red cloth spine with paper over boards. Color illustrated front cover. Identified as publisher's No. 127 at foot of front cover. Title page in red and black. No publication date, but probably about 1895. Title vignette. Illustrations are by Lothar Meggendorfer. Former owner's name on front fixed endpaper: Gilbert C. Fry. Contains: Der böse Julius -- Die Lampenmarie -- Der lachende Willi -- Die weinende Sofie -- Die unartige Laura -- and Der Pulverfritz. Many illustrations are of late 19th-century German toys. In Good- Condition: cover slightly soiled; ends of spine slightly frayed; pages are detached and consequently some edges are chipped; old damp stain at upper corner, not impacting text of illustrations. Extremely scarce.
