Black cloth, clean, though scuffed and rubbed a bit, white blotch to front cover, unobtrusive. bright interior, tightly bound, and with an ink-stamp, penciled notations by and some sharp red-penned underlinings and some marginal notes from some penciled notations from Mr. Robert Allen, from his personal library, as conveyed to me by his widow, Ms Priscilla (Brownie) Allen, he having been a noted bookseller and appraiser and also editor of a number of volumes of the The Eighteenth Century: a current bibliography series in a project headed at the University of Southern California. Extensive illustrations in black-and-white including on high-gloss paper. Volume contains scholarly apparatus in the form of, e.g., notes, index, and bibliography. Extensive frontis matter, 438 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
