About This Item

Edinburgh & London: William Blackwood, 1909. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition.. First Edition, but apparently in secondary binding: plain green cloth, lettered in gilt on spine. No publisher's name at foot of spine. Spine lightly sunned, undated signature on front free endpaper, light foxing, good. Historical novel set at the end of the C14th in the reign of Richard II. Written in a clear modern idiom rather than in fake medieval..
