FIRST EDITION. 8vo, 194 x 119 mms., pp. [viii], xviii, [xxii], 407 [408 - 410 Appendix, 411 - 414 Postscript], pp. ix and 216 misnumbered xi, 122, contemporary panelled calf, recently rebacked, title in gilt on spine; extremities a bit worn, but a very good copy with the inscription "Ex Libris/ J. Mann/ 1724 [sic]/ Pnt. 0: 5. - 0" on the top margin of the recto of the second free end-paper, with a later note in pencil, noting the discrepancy between the contemporary date of purchase and the date on the title-page.
