About This Item
New York, New York: Corinth Books, 1964. Soft cover. Very Good. Officially, the city's is made up of five boroughs, but New York to most people is that narrow strip of island called Manhattan. Over a million and a half residents of the island give "New York, N. Y." as their postal addresses and three million more -commuters, shoppers, tourists- flood into its 22.3 square miles daily ( as of the date of publication of this work -1964). This is an unpaginated work with much black and white photography. The back cover has two creases that go the length of the cover and one U crease at the top of the back cover. There is wear on the edges of the spine along both the front and back covers. Binding is tight and interior of book appears to be free of any markings. This work is truly a look back at what Manhattan Island was in the 1960's. A quite nice copy, given its age; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed!
