Beautifully told and illustrated by the Caldecott Medal winner Leo Politi. The book is in almost as-new condition but for the usual faint shadowing of the reinforced binding on the endpapers. The dust jacket is clean, bright, and crisp, with two tiny closed tears at the head of the spine.. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine-/Very Good+. Illus. by Leo Politi. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book.
