Neat inscription on verso of front free endpaper, otherwise clean and Near Fine. And in a crisp, price-clipped, VG+ dustjacket, with just a touch of light chipping along the spine ends. Quarto, wonderfully illustrated throughout in rich color by Marie Hall Ets. The 1960 Cladecott winner!
