This is an uncommon title by LEWIS CARROLL, "Novelty and Romancement - A Story by Lewis Carroll.'" 1925 1st edition, 1st printing (stated); B.J. Brimmer Company; Boston. From the dust jacket (which is not included), - "A Literary Discovery - An unknown story by the author of 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.'"
"NOVELTY AND ROMANCEMENT" is one of only two short stories written by Carroll (the other being "Bruno's Revenge"); it had remained hidden in the obscurity of an 1856 issue of a magazine called "The Train" for nearly 70 years until the publication of this book.
Condition:
Light soiling to the covers; some fading to the outer edges of the cover; a small piece of the top paper layer has peeled to the right of the title on the front cover; shelf wear along the edges of the boards. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. The inside of the book is in excellent condition - clean pages with no issues found. Overall the book is in Very Good- condition.
