A Very Good copy. 8vo., ii, (1), 216 pp. Bound in period full leather, with title on red morocco label on the spine. Plain end papers. Light edge wear; title label worn on one end. Previous owner's neat name and 1821 date on the front end paper. Title page has a small piece cut away, where an owner's name was. Light scattered foxing. Some text gatherings are browned. A handsome copy, in early American binding. Very Good. *** Previous owner is Dr. John Peyre Thomas, founder and owner of Mount Hope Plantation, Fairfield County, SC., who obtained one of the earliest medical licenses in SC.***.
