Octavo (21.5cm); white paper and black cloth-covered boards, with titles stamped in silver on spine; dustjacket; [11],12-358,[2]pp. Faint scratch to front cover, tiny indentations to lower board edges, else Near Fine. Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $16.95), gently spine-sunned and lightly edgeworn, with a few small scratches to front cover (one of them mended with clear tape on verso); Very Good+. Taylor's penultimate short story collection, centered around domestic life in the South during the 1930s and 1940s. Winner of the PEN/Faulkner Award.
