New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1890. Early printing. Hardcover. Good. 239pp. Sextodecimo [17 cm] Olive green cloth over boards with a white cameo on the front board. Top edge gilt. The first gathering is loose. The text block is cracked multiple times, however the book is still very sturdy. With an etching by W. L. Sheppard.
Page's writing often romantized Southern plantation life. This book is highly characteristic of his style.
