George Allen and Unwin, Ltd, London, 1920. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good+. Signed. Second state with errors corrected on page 35. SIGNED and dated "Aug 31 -'40" by John Dos Passos on the front endpaper (the "J" in "John" is very faintly penned). The volume is bumped on the spine ends, sunned on the top edges and spine tail, and there is off-setting to the endpapers from the jacket. The jacket is toned on the spine and along the top edges of the flaps. The spine crown has some very shallow chips. Author's first book.
