Painting vivid pictures of the countryside and agricultural life of Victorian society.Second printing of this edition, originally appeared in 1914. Featuring a coloured frontispiece. Complete with very scarce dust wrapper for this edition, unclipped but lacking the spine.  In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly chipped to head and tail of spine, back strip darkened; with a minor creasing to lower corner rear board. Dust wrapper with shelf wear and chipping to extremities, complete loss of spine, general soiling. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
