About This Item
No place of publication [probably Los Angeles]: Golden West Broadcasters, n.d. [probably 1960s]. The plate measures approximately 5 1/4 x 7.” In the center are a batter and catcher, circled by lettering “Baseball’s Greatest Players. A Series from Golden West Broadcasters.” Apparently this firm was owned by Gene Autry, whose baseball interests included the major league Angels. Included is a hard plastic impression of the plate, which, aside from a small edge chip, is in decent shape.
