London: Griffith, Farran, Browne and Co., c1895. Cloth. Good. 7.5" by 5.5". None. An adventure novel by G A Henty. Undated, dated using Copac and Newbolt 4.6. In the fourth binding style, but brown cloth variant rather than blue. (Newbolt 4.6). Out on the Pampas was Henty's first children's novel. The characters of the work were named after his children. G A Henty was a prolific English novelist and war correspondent. He is best known for his historical adventure stories which were incredibly popular during the late 19th century. In a full cloth binding with pictorial front board. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Light rubbing to the spine. Crease from the head to the tail of spine. Front hinge is strained but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are age toned to edges with scattered spotting. Good
