London: Collins. 1961. First edition, first printing. First edition, first printing. Navy cloth with silver titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout with black and white line drawings by Geoffrey Whittam. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the boards slightly bowed. The contents, with some toning and spotting to the text block edges and a gift inscription to the front free endpaper, are otherwise clean. Complete with the rubbed, creased and spotted dustwrapper which has chipping and closed tears to the spine tips and front panel and a small pen mark to the rear panel. Not price clipped (12s. 6d. net to the front flap). The ninth Punchbowl Farm series. Edwards and her husband owned a farm of the same name as the fictional farm, where they kept a herd of Jersey cows. Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request.
