The booklet is in Very Good- condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The book covers have several scratches to the edges, along with one tear to the front cover. There are two tiny staple holes to the top edge of the front cover. The text pages are clean and bright. Illustrated throughout with black and white illustrations and photos. This is a promotional booklet for the city of Pacific Grove, Ca, and includes, a bottled history, the founding of Pacific Grove, a list of churches, an article about Asilomar, Pacific Grove's Marine Gardens, a Full-sized photo of the Municipal Beach, public beachs, The Feast of Lanterns, and info and photos of recent Miss Pacific Grove contestants. There are loads of local advertising ads, with one in particular that stands out - It's an ad for the Comedy Trio of CoCo, Tom King Silver, and Ray Lugo - CoCo being a full sized chocolate Poodle, who rides the horse Tom King Silver (along with bicycles, dancing, skipping rope, playing harmonica, and more) .
