Ninth edition.Bound in the publisher's original cloth. These three volumes are comprised of information regarding the hydrography of the Pacific Islands, with Volume I covering the Western Groups, Volume II surrounding the Central Groups and Volume III focusing on the Eastern Groups. Published and compiled by the Hydrographic Department, who work for the Ministry of Defence in Somerset. This team sources, analyses and processes data from the ocean floor to the surface in order to help those around the work make the best use of their marine environment. This edition was prepared by Commander T. C. Russell. With two index charts, twelve diagrams and one-hundred-and-eighteen views to Volume I, two charts and sixty-four views to Volume II, with one chart and forty views to Volume III. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, sound with slight rubbing to the extremities, causing the occasional tear to cloth. Damp staining to the cloth boards of each volume. Marking to endpapers and to the extremities of the first few pages. The odd mark to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, with the odd mark. Good
