The First UK printing published by The Harvill Press in 1954.The BOOK is in near FINE condition with some toning to the text block and moderate offsetting to the end papers.The pages remain clean.The book is free from inscriptions and erasures.The WRAPPER is complete and is in near FINE condition.Light toning in places more-so to the spine.The rear cover is remarkably clean for its age.Jacket design and chapter vignettes by Duncan Grant.The wrapper looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival cover.One of the two major Duncan Grant book jackets even more difficult to find than 'Cheerful Weather'.
