Publishers' jade green quarter cloth with gilt titles to spine and cream paper-covered boards, in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket designed by Joel Avirom. Clean and crisp with no annotation or inscriptions; publishers' remainder "P" mark to upper edge of text-block. Jacket slightly toned to white flaps and a little surface scuffed but bright and unfaded. A Near Fine copy in like jacket. 'A Pale View of Hills' won the 1982 Winifred Holtby Memorial Prize. First Edition of the first novel by the Nobel Prize�winning author.
