About This Item
Mount Hope, Canal Zone: Panama Canal Press, 1939. Hardcover. Very Good. 111 pages, considerable black & white illustration. There is an inscription and date on the free front end page as follows: "Loving Birthday Greetings dear Tora/From Avis/ Feb.16,1940/". The covers are green & leather-like and have gilt lettering on the front cover. There is wear at the head and tail of the spine and at cover corners. The book is held together by three staples and the last page has been separated from the staples but still in its proper place. Much useful and interesting information about the Canal. A quite presentable & readable copy, given its age. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!
