A delightfully illustrated collection of children's tales by Randolph Caldecott, with colour images. Illustrated with twenty-three full-page colour illustrations and many black-and-white images in-text. Collated complete. A collection of children's tales including: Come Lasses and Lads, Ride a Cock-Horse, A Farmer Went Trotting, Mrs. Mary Blaize, and The Great Panjandrum Himself. Written and illustrated by Randolph Caldecott, a British artist and illustrator known for his book illustrations. Printed by Edmund Evans, an English wood-engraver and colour printer of the Victorian era. In the original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and minor bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine and the odd mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd handling mark and light age toning to the extremities. Very Good
