About This Item
Canada: Key Porter Books, 1989. First Printing . Oversize cloth with Dustjacket. Very attractive and quite marvelous book on the history and restoration of Canada's movie palace, The Pantages, that was designed by the great theatre designer Thomas Lamb in 1920. The book includes many b&w and color photos both historical and contemporary along with many photos of the restoration itself. Sad to think of the 100's of great theatres that are gone that could have been saved and restored. Tiny tear to the top corner of the dustjacket and a tiny tear to the bottom edge of the back panel of the dustjacket. Fine/fine.
