About This Item
Canton, MA: Science History Pubns. Good in Good dust jacket. 1999. First English Edition. Hardcover. 0881352616 . 253 pp. Index. Large octavo. Illustrated b/w. Dust jacket in grey with images of Dutch city. Interior is clean and unmarked. The only flaw is the first free endpaper has been cut off and there is a long clean cut in the next blank as well, otherwise nearly as new. Priced low to reflect this. Not just a translatio of the Dutch original but new material has beeded on the links between Holland John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams. An entirely new chapter "Tea for Mrs. Washington" shows that this is a new and truly American edition. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 253 pages .
