Jacques-Henri Bernardin de Saint-Pierre was a French writer and botanist. He is best known for the novel Paul et Virginie published in 1788. This novel is considered a French classic. It is a story of love and friendship set during the French Revolution. Bound in a full calf binding. Generally smart. Missing the spine label. Rubbing to the boards, spine, and hinges resulting in loss. Age toning to the text block. Internally firmly bound.
