The sketchbook Emily Carr kept during her rehabilitation in a restrictive Sanatorium in 1902/1903 "has been reproduced here virtually complete, in a series of thirty-nine plates set appropriately through the text." Dust jacket upper corners chipped, with a 3/4" tear in one of the corners. 1/4" chip missing from spine top, with 1" tear. There are a couple other smaller tears in top edge. Dust jacket in mylar protector.; 6 1/4 x 9 1/4
